· Only 115,000 Victorians travel to work as passengers in motor vehicles.
· This represents around 7% of cars arrive at work with a passenger. In the 1980s it was around 17%.
· Each one percentage point change is the equivalent of 30,000 trips per day.
· The Tullamarine Freeway upgrade will cost $1.2B and provide and additional 30,000 trips per day.
